Visit from Amrita University to Uppsala University

During a short visit to Uppsala University, representatives from Amrita University, India, met with CNDS acting director Malin Göteman. Based on the strong focus by both institutions on disaster risk reduction, resilience and sustainable development, combining scientific, technical, and social perspectives. The meeting was an initial contact for possible furture collaboration, and has the potential in strengthening interdisciplinary research and global learning between the Global North and South.

Dr. Maneesha V. Ramesh has personal research interests in Wireless Networks, Sustainable Development, Disaster Management and is a pioneer in the research of Early Warning Landslide Detection

Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan, with a background in Chemical Engineering, currently serves as Dean of Postgraduate Programs and heads the Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks.
