Giuliano Di Baldassarre Elected to Formas Research Council

Giuliano Di Baldassarre, Director of CNDS and Professor of Hydrology and Environmental Analysis, has been elected as a new member of the Formas Research Council for the term 2025-2027.

The Formas Research Council is responsible for making strategic and formal decisions regarding research and innovation funding in Sweden. The council consists of thirteen members, seven of whom are researchers selected by the scientific community, and six are societal representatives appointed by the government. Giuliano Di Baldassarre is one of the newly elected members, and his expertise will contribute to the council's work in sustainable development and disaster risk management.
