CNDS at ECOMONDO - The green technology expo

CNDS director, Giuliano Di Baldassarre, visited the Emilia Romagna region (Italy) on the 6-9 November 2024 in the context of the EU project TRANSCEND

During his visit, he met several key actors involved in the governance of water resources, including drought and flood risk reduction in Bologna. Moreover, he gave a seminar about socio-hydrology in Rimini illustrating the most recent work in CNDS about the interplay between water, environment, and society. By emphasizing interdisciplinary perspectives, the event stimulated a discussion among some of the main stakeholders involved in water management within the Po River Basin. The seminar was also an opportunity for dialogue between the research community and local governments.
