CNDS participated in SciFest, Uppsala during 10-12 October 2024

In a joint contribution, climes and CNDS joined SciFest 2024! Our team has developed a variety of interactive workshops, engaging students and the public in climate science, natural hazards and sustainable development.

From extracting gold and copper using a 3D model of the Earth's bedrock and a straw, creating your own earthquake to learning your own water footprint as well as knowing the factors behind hurricanes and other natural disasters, these activities helped participants explore extreme weather and geosciences in fun, hands-on ways.
