Sweden's Security: More than Just Military Defense

Last week the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter published CNDS reserchers debate article "Sveriges säkerhet kräver mer än bara totalförsvar". The infographic illustrates the articles main arguments.

The article uses the MSB name change and the election year as a starting point to argue for “both-and” rather than “either-or”: Sweden must balance investments in total defense with continued strong crisis preparedness for natural hazards and pandemics.
