Visit to CSR and Risklab at Karlstad University

In a collaborative setting staff from CNDS Uppsala and the Centre for Environment and Development studies (CEMUS) tried out Riskville as part of their training to become game facilitators. CNDS and CEMUS are collaborating at Scifest in October, joining CNDS research with CEMUS active student participation. The visit gave many insights into risk managment and educational framings, the knowledge and expertice provided by our Karlstad fellows was outstanding.

RiskLab® is CSR’s primary platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience regarding societal risks and serves as an infrastructure for research on pedagogical methods related to societal risks. The concept includes pedagogical tools, methods and exercises that can be used to spark interest, share knowledge and support learning about societal risks. Through RiskLab®, CSR utilises the power of the creative meeting for learning and problem-solving.
