Drought risk assessments in the Nordic region have increased in recent years, but show limited attention to vulnerability and exposure, as main focus is on hazard component.
The conference was held on June 3-5 at the University of Iceland, Reykjavík, Iceland. CNDS fellow Claudia Canedo Rosso presented a poster titled "Nordic approach to drought risk management: risk assessments" on the same study project Lauri Ahopelto from the Finnish Environmental Institute, had an oral presentation on the topic of "Nordic approach to drought risk management: drought policies"
