Anna Rutgersson newly elected as member of the Scientific Council for Natural and Engineering Sciences

Anna Rutgersson, Professor of Meteorology at Uppsala University and CNDS Fellow, has recently been elected as a member of the Swedish Research Council's (VR) Scientific Council for Natural and Engineering Sciences for the period 2025-2027. The term of office is three years and can be extended for a further period of three years.

Anna Rutgersson, who is a prominent researcher in climate and weather phenomena, will contribute her expertise to promote the development of science and technology research at national level. Her involvement in the Scientific Council of the Swedish Research Council strengthens the link between research and policy development, especially on issues related to climate change and its impact on society.
