CNDS Annual Summer School 2024

This week CNDS hosted 21 PhD students from more than 15 universities around the world with different background in earth, social and engineering sciences for our annual CNDS Summer School!

The course offered intensive training on concepts and tools for DRR, where the disaster management cycle was compared to alternative concepts and critically analysed in relation to recent catastrophic events. Together with senior researchers in the forefront of this field solutions to complex problems in DRR were discussed and proposed during group works, plenaries and intensive lectures.

A warm round of applause goes to all the speakers that presented their work, research and experiences during this week.
