Numerical modeling of extreme wave interaction with point-absorber using OpenFOAM

New article on extreme wave interactions published by CNDS fellows, Eirini Katsidoniotaki and Malin Göteman (Uppsala University). The two have chosen 100-year extreme waves from the environmental contour of the Humboldt Bay site in California, and modeled their interaction with the WEC using the open-source CFD software OpenFOAM.
