The defence will be chaired by the responsible professor of doctoral studies in Environmental Analysis, Professor Giuliano Di Baldassarre. The defence begins with an introduction by the opponent, Professor Brett Sanders from University of California Irvine, who will provide a comprehensive overview of my research work (~15 min). Subsequently, I will deliver a concise presentation of my research (~20 min). This will be followed by a scientific discussion between the opponent and myself. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A session, involving the examination committee members: Professor Berit Arheimer from SMHI, Docent Henrik Ernstson from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Docent Stefano Manzoni from Stockholm University, as well as the general public. Upon the completion of these proceedings, the defence will conclude, and the committee will convene privately to deliberate the verdict, which will be announced shortly thereafter.
